What is Coaching?
Coaching provides a powerful structure to process your life, to get a new perspective, and to build a concrete path to the future you want.  Coaching can be focused on personal goals, professional goals, or both.  Your journey begins with the assumption that you are whole, inherently equipped, capable, naturally resourceful, wise, complete, and highly knowledgeable about the nature of your personal and professional development.  Therefore, the role of the coach is to evoke your wisdom through one-on-one discussions, and to encourage your self-discovery, through inquiry, curiosity, gentle provocations, and challenges that help you to stretch into your best self.

The Coaching Process
I tailor the process to your needs and goals.  The key components are:
  1. Gaining clarity on what matters to you
  2. Identifying choices to create the change you want
  3. Building momentum to live a life that is congruent with what matters to you
My Philosophy of Coaching
Coaching creates a partnership between coach and client, allowing you to lead with your needs, goals and outcomes. As the coach, I can provide an objective perspective, while questioning assumptions and holding us both accountable to the outcomes you have identified.  I approach coaching from a holistic lens, attentive to your interior life (physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual) as well as how that interior reality is expressed through physical presence and behaviors.

While coaching may address business challenges, personal issues, and life conditions that impact your personal or professional effectiveness, the process is distinct from consulting, therapy, and counseling in that you will ultimately create self-generated solutions and strategies.  Although I may occasionally offer advice, opinions, or suggestions, you are free to accept or decline what is offered, because you take the ultimate responsibility for action.
